The practice side of this work
Infinite Threads
If beccasutter.org is the map, Infinite Threads is the territory — where the philosophical work becomes lived practice through symbol, myth, movement, and direct inquiry.
The mythic register
A different language for the same territory
The Physics of Meaning works in a philosophical register — frameworks, theories, essays that build argument through language and logic. But there is another way of knowing that doesn't begin with argument. It begins with image, with story, with the figure that keeps returning in dreams and in culture long after the explanation has been forgotten.
The mythic register is not less rigorous than the philosophical one. It is differently rigorous. Myth doesn't explain — it enacts. A myth doesn't tell you what grief is. It gives you Orpheus descending, turning back, losing Eurydice twice. The second loss is the one that teaches.
Infinite Threads operates in this register. The essays there don't build frameworks. They enter archetypes from inside — Lot's wife, Medusa, Cassandra, Sophia — and speak in the first person of what it costs to know what the world is not yet ready to hear. The astrology work traces planetary patterns not as fate but as seasonal pressure, mythic weather, the cosmos as symbolic field. The tarot functions the same way — not as prediction, but as mirror.
Symbolic literacy in practice
Reading what ordinary language cannot yet reach
Symbolic literacy — one of the four literacies I teach — is the ability to read the language the deeper mind already speaks. Not the language of argument and evidence, but the language of image, repetition, and return. The symbol that keeps appearing. The myth that feels personal. The dream that won't resolve.
Infinite Threads is where this literacy is practiced directly. Through astrology readings, tarot, Reiki, and Soma Flow movement, the work moves out of abstraction and into the body — into direct encounter with the patterns, symbols, and forces that are already organizing experience beneath the surface of what can be easily named.
beccasutter.org asks: what is the structure of meaning?
Infinite Threads asks: what is the symbol trying to show you right now?
Both are necessary. They are the same inquiry in two different languages.
